Set up RidePack Pro Family Sharing

One Family subscription covers everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group — here's how to pick it and what each member gets.

Before you start

Family Sharing works through your existing Apple Family group, which is limited to 6 people and one group per Apple ID. If you haven't set one up, do that first in Settings → [your name] → Family Sharing on your iPhone — RidePack doesn't manage Family Sharing membership itself, only the subscription.

Choose the Family plan

  1. Open the paywall

Tap to start a ride, or open Settings → Subscription if you already have Pro and want to switch plans.

  2. Switch to Family

Use the Individual / Family toggle at the top of the paywall to select Family, then choose monthly or yearly.

  3. Subscribe

Confirm with Apple. The free trial applies the same way it does for the Individual plan.

What family members get

Once you subscribe to a Family plan, every member of your Apple Family Sharing group gets full RidePack Pro access — unlimited-range group voice, open mic, and the Apple Watch companion — at no extra cost to them. There's nothing for them to configure inside RidePack beyond having the app installed and being signed in with their own Apple ID.

If a family member doesn't see Pro access

Ask them to open RidePack and tap Restore Purchases in the paywall or in Settings → Subscription. This re-checks their Apple ID's Family Sharing entitlements and unlocks Pro immediately if they're a member of the sharing group.

Not a club plan Family Sharing only works within an Apple Family group. It isn't a way for a riding club or larger group to split the cost of one subscription — each rider outside your Apple Family still needs their own plan.
