Set up RidePack & check devices

Here's what RidePack needs to run, the connection it relies on during a ride, and the one permission to grant on first launch.

Supported devices

  • iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
  • Apple Watch (optional) running watchOS 10 or later for the companion app.

You'll need a network connection

RidePack voice travels over your cellular or Wi-Fi connection, so each rider needs a network connection during the ride. If you briefly lose signal, the app reconnects automatically as soon as coverage returns — see Live Activity, battery & data for what that looks like.

First launch in two steps

  1. Download and open RidePack

    Get RidePack from the App Store and open it. The app is free to download; riding requires RidePack Pro — see RidePack Pro plans & subscriptions.

  2. Grant location permission

    RidePack uses your location to surface nearby rides so you can find and join your crew. Allow location access when prompted.
